Intercultural Theatre Institute’s graduating class of 2025 presented a compelling four-show run of Othello, directed and adapted by renowned Hong Kong theatre practitioner Tang Shu-wing, from 6 to 8 November at the Esplanade Theatre Studio. The production marked a significant milestone for the cohort as they approach the completion of their three-year training.
Presented in collaboration with Esplanade — Theatres on the Bay, the performances drew strong audiences across all four shows, underscoring the community’s continued support as ITI celebrates its 25th anniversary of nurturing the next generation of theatre-makers. The #ITI25 celebrations will continue into 2026 with a series of programmes and events.
ITI also welcomed H.E. Mr. Agustin García-López Loaeza, Mdm. Katya Anaya de la Fuente, and representatives from the Embassy of Mexico, who attended one of the performances in support of the students.
