ITI Director T. Sasitharan at UAS Arts Education Symposium 2025

ITI Director T. Sasitharan (Sasi) delivered a keynote speech titled "The Work of Art in the Age of Genocide" at the UAS Arts Education Symposium 2025. The event was held on April 5, 2025, at the Lee Foundation Theatre, NAFA Campus 3 in Singapore. 

Sasi's address explored the artist's role in a world facing profound moral crises, climate change, and political polarisation. He asserted that, "The highest calling of art, the moral imperative of the artist, is to bear witness to life as it unfolds," and discussed how artists can keep creating despite overwhelming global challenges.
