ITI alumni association, inITIate, officially launched

ITI celebrated the official launch of inITIate, its first-ever alumni association, during the opening of the Mindanao InterCultural Exchanges (MICE) 2025. Held on June 26 in Dipolog, Philippines, the launch event was attended by Koh Wan Ching, ITI's Head of Acting; key figures from partner institution, Jose Rizal Memorial State University (JRMSU)—including University President Dr. Maria Rio Abdon Naguit, Vice President for External Affairs Dr. Joseph Salvel R. Campiseño, and JRMSU Dipolog Campus Director Dr. Marvin A. Recapente—as well as members of inITIate PH.
Formed to foster a stronger global community, inITIate aims to promote continued community engagement, professional networking, and ongoing development for ITI’s current students and graduates. The association will serve as a hub for alumni to collaborate on new projects and strengthen bonds within the worldwide ITI network.
During the launch, the inITIate interim committee was also introduced. This committee was established to steer the initial work of the association and guide its formal establishment. The members include:
